You're our ideal customer!

How do we know?

Simply we assume that you are like us. Thus we only make Java developer tools that we would buy if we had not written them ourselves. We assume that your preference in developer tools and methods is to make your own when time allows. Therefore we have only one goal in our Java developer tool designs:

We write Java developer tools for our own use. If we find them truly useful, we add documentation, clean up their interfaces, do extra testing, and invite you to see if they are useful for your own work.

All of our Java developer tools are designed based on a mutual professional respect. We assume you know as much or more about the issues you're attempting to solve than we do. For that reason our Java developer tools are designed for simplicity, flexibility, integration into any developer environment, and to above all stay out your way.

Our business model is based on the ideals of the open source world. Pure open-source, at the philosophical level, has largely ignored the commerical realities of being a Micro-ISV. For that reason in cooperation with several other Micro-ISV's and their user bases we have developed a business model that keeps the best of open-source (the free flow of knowledge) while enabling the developers and community based contributors to make a living. For more details see the groups site at http://www.miai-siw.org. Therefore all our business decisions are based on the minimum amount of resources needed to allow us to eat and grow. In other words our first duty is to the users of our Java developer tools and our own personal well being has equal or less value in the equation.
